采用福美双诱导建立肉鸡胫骨软骨发育不良(tibial dyschondroplasia，TD)模型，研究甲状旁腺素相关肽-印第安刺猬蛋白(PTHrP-Ihh)信号轴在肉鸡发生胫骨软骨发育不良中的调控机制。100羽1日龄健康Ross308肉鸡经1周预饲后，随机分为2组，对照组饲以基础日粮，试验组在饲喂8、9 d时饲以基础日粮并添加100 mg/kg福美双，之后继续饲以基础日粮；于15日龄时采集组织样本，进行检测。结果显示，与对照组比较，试验组体质量极显著降低，但TD 发生率极显著升高；胫骨与肱骨的骨长度、骨密度，胫骨与股骨的骨强度均显著或极显著降低，而肱骨的骨指数显著增强；TD肉鸡胫骨生长板软骨组织Ihh、PTHrP的mRNA表达极显著下降，ColⅩmRNA表达极显著上升。试验表明，PTHrP-Ihh信号轴调控紊乱，会影响生长板软骨细胞的分化和ColX表达，导致肉鸡形成胫骨软骨发育不良。
